What to Expect during Chairside Teeth Whitening Treatment
During a professional “chairside” whitening session, your teeth will first be checked for any signs of decay or damage that could jeopardize the whitening treatment. Moving forward, a special rubber shield will be placed over your gums to protect them from the bleaching agent. A powerful whitening gel will be applied to your teeth, where it will sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Depending on the specific brand we use, the gel may be activated with a special light or laser. The gel will be wiped off and the entire process will be repeated two to three times. In approximately one hour, your teeth will look noticeably whiter.
